Inbound campaigns for X

X (Twitter) engagement DM automation. Turn interactions into customers.

Your posts attract attention. Xreacher helps you start conversations with the people behind it. Add Post Engagement to an X campaign, choose likes, comments, or reposts, and message people who interact with your own content. Reach existing engagers, pick up new engagement automatically, or combine both in one ongoing audience source.

How to DM people who engage with your X posts

  1. 1

Connect the X account publishing your content

The engagement source belongs to the sending account. Your campaign uses people interacting with that account's own posts, not another account's content.

  2. 2

Choose Post Engagement and the interaction types

Select likes, comments, reposts, or a combination. You can focus on people who comment, for example, or include all three interaction types in the audience.

  3. 3

Select existing engagement, new engagement, or both

Choose People who've engaged so far for the existing audience. Choose New engagement from now on for ongoing activity. Choose Both — existing + new to cover the audience already engaging and future interactions.

  4. 4

Write your message, launch, and manage replies

Build a message relevant to the subjects you cover in your content. Launch the campaign with your chosen settings, then use the unified inbox to handle replies and move interested people toward your offer.

Do more with the attention your content earns

A useful post can attract people who never visit your website or ask about your service. Engagement DM automation gives you a way to start that conversation. You keep publishing content, and your campaign works with the audience interacting with it. The opportunity is not just more messages: it is connecting what you talk about publicly to what you can help someone do privately.

  • Creators: offer a related resource or introduce a paid community.
  • Founders: talk to people engaging with your market insights or product content.
  • Coaches and consultants: move from public advice to a discussion about someone's needs.
  • Agencies: turn a client's content audience into conversations from that client's own profile.

Choose likes, comments, and reposts

The Post Engagement source lets you choose the types of interactions you want to include. Likes identify people reacting to your content. Comments bring in people joining the discussion. Reposts include people sharing it with their own audience. Select one type or combine them. The source is based on interaction types across your account's posts, rather than a rule that only sends a message when someone writes a particular keyword.

  • Likes: include people who like your posts.
  • Comments: include people who reply to your posts.
  • Reposts: include people who repost your content.

Existing engagement or an always-on content workflow

Choose existing engagement to start with the audience your posts have already attracted. Choose new engagement for a campaign that keeps picking up future interactions. Choose both when you want to work through existing interest and keep the source active as you publish. The DM still goes through your campaign's sending workflow; a like or comment is the audience signal, not a promise of instant delivery.

Engagement campaigns and follower campaigns serve different audiences

Someone can engage with your content without following you. A follower can also go weeks without interacting with a post. Post Engagement helps you reach the people taking visible action on your content. My Followers helps you work with your existing or growing follower base. Choose the source that matches the conversation you want to start, rather than treating the two audiences as interchangeable.

Offer a resource aligned with the topics you publish about.

From interest to discovery

Appreciate you engaging with my posts. Are you using outreach for your own business or managing it for clients?

Use a simple question to understand the person behind the interaction.

From engagement to a product conversation

Thanks for the support on my content. I am building a tool around this space and would love to hear what you use today. Open to sharing?

Your questions, answered

Can I automatically DM people who like my tweets?

Yes. Add Post Engagement as a source and include likes. Choose existing engagement, new engagement, or both. Xreacher uses engagement on the sending account's own posts.

Can I message people who comment or repost too?

Yes. Post Engagement supports likes, comments, and reposts. Select the interaction types you want to include in your campaign audience.

Does someone have to follow me to enter the engagement audience?

No. Post Engagement is based on interactions with your content, not follower status. Sending still depends on whether the person can receive a DM from your account.

Does this send a DM only when someone comments a keyword?

This workflow selects interaction types: likes, comments, and reposts. It is not a comment-keyword trigger. Write your campaign message for the broader audience engaging with your account's content.

Can I target engagement on someone else's posts?

Post Engagement uses the sending account's own content. To build a prospect list from another account's tweet engagers, use Xreacher's separate scraping and list-based campaign workflow.

Will every interaction send another DM to the same person?

The engagement source builds an audience of people, not a separate message for each interaction. Warm-audience campaigns check queued and previously messaged contacts rather than deliberately sending a fresh opener for every like or comment.
